PBS Receives 32 Daytime Emmy Entertainment Award Nominations

Public Media Programs Receive 44 Nominations Combined 

On May 1, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Entertainment Awards. PBS and our programs received 32 Daytime Emmy Entertainment Award nominations. In addition, APT and NETA received a total of 12 nods, for a combined total of 44 nominations for public media. Among the PBS programs with multiple nominations are SESAME STREET (17), SCIGIRLS (3), and WORD GIRL with two nominations.

The Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented on June 16, 2013, from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards Gala will be held June 14, 2012, at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.
