PBS Programs Receive 11 Peabody Award Nominations

On April 5, 2017, finalists for the 76th Annual Peabody Awards, honoring the best in electronic media for 2016, were announced. Of the 60 finalists selected by the Peabody Awards board of jurors, PBS programs received 11 nominations.

The 30 Peabody Award-winning programs will be will revealed by category in successive announcements: April 12 (Individual/Institutional), April 18 (Documentary), April 20 (Entertainment) and April 25 (News/Radio/Public Service/Web/Education).

The Peabody Awards will be presented during a ceremony hosted by Rashida Jones on May 20, 2017, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. PBS and FUSION will simultaneously air the ceremony on Friday, June 2, at 9/8c (check local listings). For more information, please click here.
