STATEMENT FROM PBS PRESIDENT AND CEO PAULA KERGER ON THE PASSING OF LLOYD MORRISETT

On the passing of Sesame Workshop co-founder, Lloyd Morrisett, PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger offered the following statement:

“On behalf of my colleagues from across the public media system, we mourn the passing of Lloyd Morrisett. As a co-founder of Sesame Workshop, Lloyd’s work touched the lives of generations of children, and inspired a revolution in children’s television by harnessing the potential of media as a tool to educate and inspire. Along with so many others, we are grateful for his vision, and will continue to carry on his legacy of service to children.”
