Arlington, VA; September 29, 2022 – The 43rd News and Documentary Emmy ® Awards winners were presented at the Palladium Times Square in New York City on September 28 and 29. PBS received six total awards; FRONTLINE won four out of the six awards with two News Emmys ®, and two Documentary Emmys ®, followed by NATURE (1) AND POV (1). PBS continues to be a trusted source for news, public affairs programming, and enlightening documentaries.
On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Judy Woodruff of PBS NEWSHOUR was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for her groundbreaking career as anchor and managing editor at PBS NEWSHOUR.
