Winners of the Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards were given out September 15 by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and PBS programs took home 11 awards – the third highest among all networks. MASTERPIECE programs received seven awards, including four for “Great Expectations” and two for “Downton Abbey, Season 2.” Additional awards were given to PROHIBITION, INDEPENDENT LENS and GREAT PERFORMANCES.
The remainder of the Emmy Awards will be given out during the 64th Primetime Emmy® Awards broadcast on Sunday, September 23.
