On Saturday, August 10, 2019, the 34th Annual Imagen awards were announced at a ceremony held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. PBS programs received two awards, including GREAT PERFORMANCES “John Leguizamo's Road to Broadway” and BREAKING BIG. The Imagen Awards recognize programs and individuals that advance the positive portrayal and number of Latinos on screen.
