On April 23, the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication announced winners for the 74th Annual Peabody Awards for the best in electronic media for 2014. PBS programs received 4 awards including, FRONTLINE “United States of Secrets,” AMERICAN EXPERIENCE “Freedom Summer,” INDEPENDENT LENS “Brakeless,” and POV “American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs.”
The Peabody Awards will be presented during a ceremony hosted by Fred Armisen on June 21, 2015 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
