On April 10, 2018, finalists for the 77th Annual Peabody Awards, honoring the best in electronic media for 2017, were announced. Of the 60 finalists selected by the Peabody Awards board of jurors, PBS programs received 10 nominations.
The 30 Peabody Award-winning programs will be will revealed by category in successive announcements: April 12 (Individual/Institutional), April 17 (Documentary), April 19 (Entertainment) and April 24 (News/Radio/Public Service/Web/Education).
The Peabody Awards will be presented during a ceremony hosted by Hasan Minhaj on May 19, 2018, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. A complete list of PBS finalists follows.
