Arlington, VA, March 12, 2018 – PBS KIDS and SEVAN Design & Marketing (“SEVAN”) announced a multi-year licensing partnership today that will expand the wide range of PBS KIDS educational products through the development of a line of classic wooden toys, as well as new innovation in the category.

“PBS KIDS is committed to helping children learn through engaging resources that spark their inherent curiosity in the world around them,” said Dawn Ciccone, Vice President, Brand Licensing, PBS. “We are excited to partner with SEVAN on new designs that will create opportunities for children’s exploration and discovery through play.”
“We are proud to expand our portfolio of brands with PBS KIDS. The partnership is focused on developing ground-breaking toys that utilize new technologies to enhance existing play patterns,” says Rick Schad, chief executive officer, SEVAN. “Bringing our team of toy design experts with the team at PBS KIDS has opened up tremendous opportunities to explore innovation in toys that are both fun and educational.”
The new licensing partnership will launch with the debut of a line of classic wooden toys that will be available to families across the country at major retailers later this year.
