PBS KIDS and PBS KIDS Producers Win Three Kidscreen Awards and Three iKids Awards

Winners of the 2014 Kidscreen Awards were announced on Tuesday, February 11 during the Kidscreen Summit in New York City. The annual awards celebrate the year’s best in children’s media and broadcasting.

In total, PBS KIDS and PBS KIDS programs won three awards. PBS KIDS received the awards for Channel of the Year and Best Channel Website (for pbskids.org). Additionally, SESAME STREET won the award for Best Non-Animated or Mixed Series.

Winners of the 2014 iKids Awards were announced on Thursday, February 13 during the Kidscreen Summit as well. The iKids Awards recognize the best digital media products and platforms.

In total, PBS KIDS won three awards. PBS KIDS received the awards for Best Website (Preschool) and Best Streaming Video Platform (Preschool). In addition, PBS KIDS' CYBERCHASE 3D Builder App, produced by THIRTEEN, won the award for Best Learning App (Tablet) in the Kids ages 6 and up category.
