PBS KIDS and Producers Win Six Kidscreen Awards

Winners of the 2013 Kidscreen Awards were announced on Wednesday, February 6 during the Kidscreen Summit in New York City. The annual awards celebrate the year’s best in children’s programming and broadcasting. In total, PBS KIDS and PBS KIDS programs won six awards. PBS KIDS received the awards for Best Channel Website and Best Integrated Promotion for the launch of DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD, which also won for Best Animated Series in the preschool category. Additionally, DINOSAUR TRAIN was awarded Best Companion Website in the preschool category while WILD KRATTS took home the same honor in the kids category. SESAME STREET received the award for Best Voice Talent.


Additionally, the inaugural iKids Awards preceded the Kidscreen Awards and winners were announced on Monday, February 4. DINOSAUR TRAIN was awarded Best Website and the honor for Best eBook went to Sid the Science Kid Read and Play.
