PBS Honored with Three Awards at 2014 Webbys

The 18th Annual Webby Winners were announced on April 28. PBS Idea Channel, a PBS Digital Studios web series, won a Webby Award in the First Person category. PBS KIDS won its second consecutive People’s Voice award in the Youth category for PBSKIDS.org. Lastly, Religion & Ethics NewsWeekly produced by PBS member station WNET won the Webby Award in the Religion & Spirituality category.

“Congratulations to the PBS Digital Studios, PBS KIDS and WNET teams on their Webby Award wins and creating some of the best content available on the Web,” said Ira Rubenstein, Senior Vice President and General Manager, PBS Digital. “PBS and member stations will continue to harness the power of the Web to reach audiences of all ages with our high-quality and trusted content.”

The winners will receive awards on Monday, May 19 during a ceremony that will be available to watch On Demand.
