PBS and PBS KIDS Receive 49 Daytime Emmy Nominations

On March 31, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Entertainment Awards. PBS and PBS KIDS programs received 49 Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In addition, APT received a total of 2 nominations and NETA earned one for a combined total of 52 nominations for public media. Among the PBS programs with multiple nominations are SESAME STREET (13), ODD SQUAD (6), PEG + CAT (6), THE MIND OF A CHEF (5), and MARTHA BAKES, CYBERCHASE and A CHEF’S LIFE with two nominations each.

The Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented on April 26, 2015, from the Warner Bros. Studios. The Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards Gala will be held April 24, 2015, at the Universal Hilton in Los Angeles. A complete list of PBS nominees and their categories follows.
