On March 22, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy® Entertainment Awards. PBS and PBS KIDS programs received 31 Daytime Emmy® Award nominations. In addition, APT received a total of 7 nominations and NETA earned one for a combined total of 39 nominations for public media. Among the PBS programs with multiple nominations are ODD SQUAD (15), THE MIND OF A CHEF (5) and PEG + CAT (3).
The Daytime Emmy® Awards will be presented on April 30, 2017, from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards will be held April 28, 2017, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
