ALEXANDRIA, VA, January 28, 2005 - Meetings of the Public Broadcasting Service Board of Directors and its Committees will take place at The Palms Hotel, 3025 Collins Avenue, Miami, Florida on February 3, 2005. Schedule and tentative agenda for each meeting follows:
Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, 8:15 a.m., board governance, committee composition, and other business.
Member Services Committee, 9:15 a.m., reports from the Technology and Distribution and Education Committees, common carriage, GM Planning and Annual Members Meetings, cable distribution, and other business.
Finance and Budget Committee, 10:45 a.m., FY05 budget forecast, station major billing, dues formula, and other business.
Board of Directors, 2:30 p.m., reports from board committees on nominating and governance, strategic planning, finance, member services, education, digital future initiatives, and other business.
All meetings are open to the public, however, some portions may be held in executive session.
