New Director Currently Serves on Board of Local PBS Licensee KET
February 17, 2006, ALEXANDRIA, VA - John Domaschko, President of the consulting firm MC Squared Inc., and a Board member and past Chair of PBS member licensee Kentucky Educational Television, has been elected to the PBS Board as a General Director. His four-year term begins immediately.

The PBS Board of Directors is responsible for governing and setting policy for PBS. The Board comprises 27 members: 13 professional members who are member station leaders; nine lay members who represent member stations but are not employed by a station; four general directors who are representatives of licensees or the general public; and the PBS president. Board members serve without pay.
The membership of PBS elects the professional and lay members. The general directors are elected by the Board, which also appoints the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Domaschko began his tenure on KET's Board in 1994 with an appointment to the finance committee. He became Vice Chairman in 1997 and held the chairman position from 1999 through 2004. President of the consulting firm MC Squared Inc., Domaschko is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Elizabeth Medical Center and the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation and is past Chair of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport Board. He also serves on the Board of the University of Cincinnati Foundation and various community organizations benefiting the Northern Kentucky area. Mr. Domaschko holds degrees in economics and accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
